Vehicles in German City Discovered Covered with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police State

Officers stated they were contacted by a man who found a vehicle in Hanau smeared with red-colored liquid

Roughly fifty vehicles have been covered with what seems to be human blood in the German town of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, police confirm police.

Cars, walls and postboxes were vandalized, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they reported in a official communication.

Police state they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a individual noticed that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been covered with a reddish fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the form of a banned symbol, they reported.

Police then found multiple other smeared cars and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Nazi symbols are prohibited in Germany under laws outlawing the public display of Nazi symbols.

Law enforcement state preliminary tests suggest the liquid was probably human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no indication as to its origin; authorities are not yet cognizant of any harm in relation with the event," they added.

City officials announced they were trying "to resolve the mystery" and have appealed to the community for tips.

An important political figure stated the vandalism left him without words and needed to be addressed promptly.

"This act affects the very heart of Hanau and reopens the pain of the far-right attack five years ago," he wrote on a platform, mentioning the death of nine people by a shooter focusing on people of immigrant origin in 2020.
